A quick word on the still photography

All the images that I have personally taken will have been captured on my Kodak DX6440, each thumbnail is linked to a 700x525 JPEG image which will have a file size of around 350kbs. These are suitable for use as desktop background, for the best results your pc's 'show' desktop icons should also be enabled. I will be happy to email or ftp a full resolution copy typically 2304x1728pix and around 1mb in file size suitable for printing and great for your desktop backgrounds, just use the email me link informing me of which image you would like, along with either your ftp details or email address. 

Now a word on the video clips

In order for the video clips I have uploaded to work on your pc you will need to have the latest video compression codec installed .These days most of you will already have an mpeg4 codec working for you even if you didn't know it. Not so long ago this codec was a closely guarded secret and withheld from public use for about 2 years. Thankfully it has now become an industry standard, and made freely available to download. This codec's does for our video compression, that which mp3 does for our audio, allowing us to compress a video clip from 130megs down to 15megs without excessive loss in quality. This makes the streaming or downloading of video media far more feasible, especially now that broadband internet has become widely available to us in the uk. 

I do my best to insure that every video clip plays in windows media player but if you should find that the clips refuse to play on your standard media player and it cannot download the correct codec, then simply retry after installing each of the following
